Bio
David has shot over 300 music videos and hundreds of commercials, as well as many award winning short films. He has completed four feature films, and many others in the capacity of additional cinematographer (2nd Unit, Splinter, etc.), working with actors such as Bill Nighy, Jamie Foxx, Gemma Arterton, Cameron Diaz and Anya Chalotra.
An expert in digital formats (after working for 6 years as a DIT with many different world-renowned cinematographers), he previously worked as a focus puller and clapper loader. He also owned an ARRI 416 for 7 years and honed his skills exposing 35mm and 16mm over a decade. He is also adept at other formats such as Phantom (shooting dozens of high speed spots including visual effects, food/drink and explosions), table top work with periscope lenses, cranes, tracking vehicles, unusual camera rigs, visual effects work (including several large scale campaigns utilising extensive green screen work) and LED screens.
